"From the ships deck log: '1350: Vessel alongside port-quarter
made up with head and stern line. Deck of fishing vessel is full of refugees.
Vessel appears to be top-heavy rolling 30 degrees each way and pounding into
side of Whipple. Seas have increased to state 3 (5 - 6'); winds increased to 25
knots.....' Five minutes later, captain orders refugees brought aboard...." |
