Hi Mark,

I came across your site and was wondering if there is a site for an inquiry as to any survivors of the USS Halligan still living at this time? My brother, Ernest J Phillips, was a radar/sonar man on that destroyer and went down with his ship. I would like to see if there is anyone who might remember him and might have a picture of him on the ship.

Thank you for any information you might supply.

I am looking for information on the disappearance of Edward Molloy from Mt. Vernon, NY. His was a seaman first class on the USS Halligan.

NOTE: While in the Panama Canal he met up with his older brother, James (Jim) Molloy who was assigned there as a ( my Dad) as the ship was passing thru the locks and a Life Magazine reporter was there and reported on this story.
