I'm pushing 80 and I served aboard the Stevens in WWII in the South Pacific in 1943 to 1946...What can I do to help your website?...I'm using a webtv gizmo not a computor so I cant send more than one picture at a time if you want pictures...

Attached is a photo of the USS Stevens crew probably soon after comm - issioning. The photo belongs to the daughter of PhM 1\c Hama Roy Gunnels, Jr. (later CPhM on USS Herbert). He is on gun barrel of turret #2 second from left.
