The Sailor on the right is my father, Jack McGuire who served on the USS Thomason, DE 203. I do not Know the other 2 Sailors or the Lady in the photo, hopefully some one might. I think the photo was taken in San Diego. The writing on the back of the photo has:

    "Oct 27/45
First night back in the States, just back from the Pacific (hell hole)"

[Above] you will find a photo of Charles Teer; my grandfather. He served aboard the USS Thomason her entire short life during the war.

After the war he returned to Hartford City, Indiana and worked 50 plus years at the Overhead Door Company. He still lives there today with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He is enjoying a healthy life of retirement with family.

Sincerely,

Jeffrey D. Fuller
USS Carl Vinson CVN70
Grandson of Charles Teer
