Launched:       August 30, 1943
Commissioned:   December 1, 1943
Decommissioned: April 30, 1946
Fate:           Stricken (USN) 2/10/49;
                To China 12/14/48, Renamed 
                Tai Tsang.
                Escaped to Taiwan with 
                Nationalist forces in 1949. 
                Stricken - 1975 and broken up.
