Builder: Bethlehem Steel, S.F., CA. Laid Down: November 4, 1943 Launched: August 12, 1944 Commissioned: April 26, 1945 Decommissioned: January 15, 1971 Fate: To Taiwan May 6, 1974; Cannibalized for spare parts.

We are seeking information on the USS Lofberg and her crews. Files and photos may be emailed to us and we will incorporate them into this page. When enough information has been assembled we will then build the ship her own section.
