I recently began searching for anything on the internet related to the ships I served on during my Navy service. I was amazed at what I found! I'm sure that many of us, at a certain age, have thought back to our military time with a certain degree of nostalgia. It was a different Navy way back when! I came across some cruise books I kept from my Navy time and thought you might want to post the photo I've enclosed. I made the '62 Med Cruise on the USS Purdy, and was discharged upon her return to Newport in Sept. of that year. Lots of great memories from that cruise, even the mid watches and GQ drills!
